I don't know about Mannion either, but I know this..

as sure as crabgrass Mannion, if he does come in, won't be given a second chance... not even even a single mistake.. neither by the Rams nor the majority on this board. He either lights it up or he's toast on the Rams. There will be no 'give him time' posts. I'd bet a dollar on it.
