After a drubbing like that, I mean I guess I get pretty passionate, and it's hard not to start biting at people. But at the same time, my usual natural response to disappointment, especially disappointment I have ZERO control over, is to commiserate (what a great word: co & misery) with fellows of like mind and just laugh at it, and at myself.
People howl at paying Austin 42mil, and I'm with them, but hey: how much are we paying Donald on his next big contract? Or Quinn? Or even Keenum? Every player on the field today was vastly overpaid except Britt and mayyybe Barnes since I didn't see him get trucked too bad. And maybe some special teamers.
You have to correct the coaching before you can evaluate the talent.
Thanks dawg...everyone is entitled to their opinions no question, I just really don't get the Tavon hate, STRICTLY from a playing/ability standpoint anyway. Now, if the trade up and contract etc..are biased into it, I can understand the frustration. But I have had the Sunday Ticket from it's inception...owned Sports bars all through the mid 90's up until a few years ago when I quit drinking and decided to concentrate on the thing I love most...being Dad. And I am here to tell you, outside of the truly ELITE of the elite as far as "hands" go...he doesn't drop passes any more than most WR's around the league, not even close to be honest...sorry, that's just not true. He is the type of player that needs to be properly schemed with....gotten into space, CONSISTENTLY...with time to have a chance to make a move......this is ALL on the coaching/scheming IMO.
