With the absolute systemic failure of this team in every phase, it's impossible to tease out who the real talent is.
I mean we KNOW, we have indisputable evidence that Donald is an absolute monster, yet he was bush league, a petty crybaby after being rightfully ejected after getting made completely ineffective for perhaps the first time in his career, and so understandably frustrated. That's just one example there are surely others. But players tonight were playing WELL below their clear potential.
The first thing we need is some competence in coaching. Once we have competent NFL coaches producing competent NFL gameplans against competent NFL teams, then we can get to the task of evaluating players. But we can't figure out who really screwed up until we can figure out just what the hell they were supposed to be doing in the first place, and get them playing football again instead of full-contact slap-and-tickle. THEN we can really make a judgment on who the great players are.
