Will we see some substantial use of Gurley in the passing attack? Would LOVE to see that.
Mentioning RBs in the passing game raises the issue of the screen.
We have been bad at executing screens forever. And it hurts us. Teams with a well executed screen game are really hard to stop.
Now, of course, screens are easier to execute if you've been hitting downfield passes.
But, the screen is a very tricky play. Most teams don't put in enough work to execute them well. And if they ARE executed well, they are hard to stop even if the downfield passing has been only average.
I would love to see Gurley catching passes in well executed screens.
