A poised rookie, but a rookie with a limited playbook and understanding of what was going on out there.
He did some good things for sure, but the Cowboys missed Romo A LOT today.
Elliott only had 51 yards on 20 carries (2.55 YPC)
Dak was forced to win the game with his arm at the end and it was a tall order for any rookie. Thought Jenks did a nice job overall on Dez too.
Not so sure Dallas wins this game with Romo.
I think Dallas probably wins fairly easily with Romo.
The playbook was quite obviously very thin for Dak, all short and simple stuff,, mostly to inside receivers like the TE and slot WR. He ended up with 5 YPA, which actually makes Bradford look like Dan Marino as a vertical passer by comparison. They really got very little useful production out of him today. Lots of attempts, but no damage.
Not really a knock on him. He still looks like he's going to become a good NFL QB, I think, but today he really limited the ability of that offense.
