and whether it works out for them or not....and hosing the Rams for "goin for it" with Goff.
And for the underachieving, ACL compromised poster boy in SBradford?
SB was dealt AGAIN for high value a 1st and a 3rd/4th that could be higher?
Quite a lot to pay for a broken QB that's injury prone, no?!
Heck, I wish we shoulda made that trade for Bradford...so we can be competitive this year like the Vikings who seem to have...
"All the Right Staff". Fisher could do wonders if he had Bradford...healthy.
I listen to a lot of Sirius NFL channel and almost every show loves toaking shots at the Vikings newest QB
Today yesterday was latest in that vein with both talking heads saying; "I swear to you this guy (S
is the luckiest guy in NFL history! Look at all the money he's made for average numbers and he keeps getting traded for big returns.."
I wanted to call in and say; "You idiots do realize that the NFL IS the most cut-throat league ever assembled right? A place where once your production drops even a little it is as if you have a fatal disease, NO ONE will touch you even for minimum wage!"
Then I hear Charles Davis and others saying Bradford is not as good as Teddy Bridgewater? Please. On that team, with that defense and those offensive weapons he's thrown 14 tds each of his last 2 years and their pass offense is dead last in the NFL? And Davis goes on to talk about "all the sacks Teddy took and (wait for it) HE'S MOBILE..how many sacks you think Bradford is going to take?"
Ah, LESS I promise you! Most mobile QB's take a LOT of sacks (see Wilson, Cam and others) because they hold the ball forever to extend and make big plays. Bridgewater held it because he doesn't see things as he should which is why he gets hit and sacked so often.
Bradford over Bridgewater every day of the week.
Sam's biggest problem in this league is that he's not "one of the home-boys" who tweets his every thought or self-promotes his "brand" he's a quite, unassuming guy who goes about his business and will now be learning his 5-6 new offense. Hopefully he gets up to speed fast and if he does this Vikings team will be a major force in the NFC.
For all the crap Roseman put Sam through he did not bury the Eagles on his way out, he praised them for the opportunity they gave him last year even though he knows they screwed him first by trading all the picks to draft Wentz and by what they did yesterday.
We can talk about the slow development of Goff but the Eagles were CLEAR before yesterday that Wentz was not ready and needed to sit a year, now Roseman is talking out the other side of his face yet again. He's going to get what he deserves this year and he better start praying that Wentz turns out to be a lot better than he's shown...
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
