Anyone hear anything about Spruce's health? I'm sure hoping he's available from game 1, especially with Cooper likely not.
I think it was kind of funny that anyone thought Spruce wouldn't make it.
The coaching staff would have to be blind not to see what they had in this guy. My ONLY concern was whether Fisher was smart enough to see that Spruce is so advanced compared to any of the other guys (except Britt) that he could lead the team in receptions THIS YEAR, if he is allowed to play enough. QBs throw to guys who help them out, and avoid guys who don't.
This guy LOOKS like an NFL WR when he plays. He reminds me so much of Proehl, and some say of Snow (yep). Spruce has those super sticky hands, runs about the same speed (4.6) as those guys, but is over 2 inches taller and 20 lbs bigger than Proehl, about the same height but 15 lbs bigger than Snow. It's his routes, moxy, and sneaky quickness. His RAC is better than you'd think, because he just has an instinct about running.
Now if the Rams can just acquire a true #1 WR that causes defense to have to roll coverage towards him.
