by winning games in CK's fashion...but Goff will rise -hopefully- cuz he's a better passing talent. imo
The next 2years are limbo years while waiting for the new stadium and so it was a good move to draft a QB and grow him
for the next few years so that come opening day in Inglewood...we'll have a promising QB starter. That's the plan, I think.
Goff was not as ready for prime time as they had hoped for...but CK has proven he could win.
It's like the RBs....benny is good we could win with him so why draft Gurley? cuz Gurley would be better in time was the bet..
and I think the same thots were applied to Goff. CK just knows where to go with the ball....
when Goff has the same knowledge that CK does of this offense...it won't even be close. imo
I understand what yer saying and I am frustrated also with these players being human and learning at different speeds, etc
but we need to realize that the only thing that matters is player acquisition/talent...and not where they are gotten from. If we miss on all our draft picks but sign 4 UDFAs that end up being ProBowlers...then who cares where it came from?
We all have a bit unreal expectations from Draft Day and draft position. These guys are humans and not robots that play exactly to their draft value. That's just our expectations getting in the way. imo
We just disagree on Goff...no biggee.
