it definitely could be editing for the reasons you mentioned. My focus was on coach boo saying "he's going to be good for us" in reference to Kush.
I also make the assumption that coach Boo gets substantial weight in terms of his opinion of who stays and who goes on the offense line

But from my untrained eyes Rhaney hasn't done anything
More often than not I've seen Rhaney being physically overmatched. Not impressed at all.
