That's my opinion. Of course it's not a fact. But neither is Keenum would have taken us to the playoffs last year. Both are opinions.
BUT look at what our front office did. Mortgaged the future for a QB. Ask yourself, would they have done that if they thought Keenum was the guy to take them to the playoffs? They could have drafted Paxton or Dak and kept all of this year's and next year's draft choices. They made their move and that should speak volumes.
I'm sure you've watched the preseason games. CK is CLEARLY the best QB we have AT THIS TIME. I can see the talent in Goff, but unfortunately he is just not ready. It's very evident. With that said, I don't think it'll take a whole season before he is ready. I'm in the camp that believes he shouldn't start until he is ready, #1 pick or not.
This doesn't mean I give Fisher a pass. His track record for offenses is not impressive at all. But I have noticed that even in these preseason games, the offense has seemed a LITTLE bit more imaginative. Hopefully when the real games begin they'll unwrap some other stuff that we haven't seen.
