2006 was the last season the Rams started better than 1-2

At one point they were 4-1, before losing the next five games.

2007 - started 0-8
2008 - started 0-4, after Linehan was fired and replaced by interim HC Haslett won two, than lost the remaining 10 in a row.
2009 - started 0-7 under new HC Spags, won the next game, than lost the next eight in a row.
2010 - started 0-2
2011 - started 0-6, won two of the next three, than lost seven in a row
2012 - started 0-1 and 1-2 in Fisher's debut season
2013 - started 0-3
2014 - started 0-2, 1-4, 2-7
2015 - started 1-0 (for the first time since 2006), at one point 4-3 before the wheels came off with five straight losses.

* 2016 - first three games are against SF, SEA & TB. Recently we have played SEA very tough at home, that game is flanked by two road contests. Than a tough road game against ARI, followed by three very winnable games against BUF, DET and NYG (home, away and London, respectively). They than get CAR at home, followed by three more eminently winnable games against NYJ, MIA and NO (one home game again flanked by two on the road). The last five games include three tough looking matchups, NE away, ATL at home, SEA away, than closing out the season with two home games against SF and ARI.

An extremely generous and optimistic projection (but doable in theory if the defense comes together, OL is healthy and gels, Gurley beasts, they make a concerted effort to get the ball to Austin more, Higbee and Cooper play like vets - admittedly a lot of ifs).

1) SF W
2) SEA W
3) TB W
4) ARI L
5) BUF W
6) DET W
7) NYG W
8) CAR L
9) NYJ W
10) MIA W
11) NO W
12) NE L
13) ATL W
14) SEA L
15) SF W
16) ARI L

In NFC West, we get swept by ARI, split with SEA and sweep SF.

Three wins, a loss, three wins, a loss, three wins gets to 9-2, than L, W, L, W, L finishes with 11-5 would almost certainly make the playoffs.
