I agree the defensive line is the strength of this team, but won't go so far as to say the front seven. The LB's are a problem IMO, but I'd love to see them prove me wrong.
The hope as I see it is that they can run the ball well enough on offense and get after the QB well enough on defense to keep them at least competitive in most games. But that's a problem in and of itself because it's the same hope we've had for years now.
I think Ayers needs to be replace, but I don't see AO and Barron as problems.
And I expect them to run the ball better this year. The RBs and OL are better.
Doesn't mean I think they will have a winning record. I still think Fisher will find a way to avoid that. There is no one better at taking a 4-12 team and winning 7 games or taking a 10-6 teams and winning 7 games. You never really know what you've got when Fisher is your HC; you can be anywhere from a 4 win team to a 10 win team and he will get the same results. He's like a human thermostat.
