It isn't enough to just throw deep. I'm sure you can find stats that support the claim that the Rams do throw deep.
The key point is that it's HOW they throw deep. It's bland, simple, and easily defended. Just not crisp or sharp at all.
Watch other teams throw deep and then compare the Rams. The difference in striking.
Now maybe the quality of the receivers play a large roll in that, but that issue is also on Fisher, the man who claimed that anyone who says we need receivers doesn't know what they are talking about. The man is simply obtuse. And that is manifested in his offenses and record.
And personally I like Goff a lot better than Lynch. I think Goff is gonna be very good and I do appreciate the way Fisher is handling him, not rushing him.
