Teams like to use offset language to claw back some guaranteed money if the player gets a job with another team after they are cut. They feel the player is double dipping, where the player's position is - 'guaranteed money is guaranteed money and if you cut me, it's on you'. That's kind of how I understood it anyway.

Also said Condon is a good agent and not a problem to work with and is just doing what the player wants. Threw cold water on the 'history with SD' talk as that was a whole different gm regime and Condon works with all teams, said an agent would be foolish to only work with 31 teams.

Lastly he said Bosa's Dad was in the league for years and so his son is not coming at things from a position of greed or ignorance. He suspects when all the leverage is gone, he will sign a deal and report. Same as Bradford did when his options disappeared
