Just because he didn't mention BQ doesn't mean he's off the roster. Coaches say all kinds of stuff to motivate players. IMO Spruce has a spot. I think Marquez has a spot because he's good at ST and seemed to catch the balls thrown his way in limited play last year. That leaves BQ, MT, DW, Hill and others fighting for a 6th or seventh spot. I thought Chase played well in first PS game. Aaron Green looked good too. It comes down to roster spots, ST play, and the next 3 PS games. I thought #8 looked good catching slants.
Yeah, SoCal, we shouldn't read too much into the omission of Quick's name by Fisher. Could very well have been a brain fart. Or it could have been an unsubtle motivator for Quick.
BTW, I don't see any way that they keep 7 WR's.
Too many tough cuts at OL, DL, CB, and S as it is.
Besides, the 6th and 7th WR's wouldn't be active anyway.
