So yes, he specifically says there's no veteran QB but then he followed that with there isn't a true veteran leader on the team.

And to me that's just another example of the fact that a well-informed poster will often know more about the Rams than a national reporter like Wyche who (at least nominally anyway) covers 32 teams. We know more about the Rams than he does.

I mean how in the heck would he know who the Rams leaders are, let alone veteran leaders.

What we hear from people more familiar with the team than a national reporter is that yes, they do have leaders.

Including veterans.

And we know he didn’t get this from team insiders because when Long and JL were cut, GW was insistent that other leading voices had already emerged in the clubhouse.

If you think about it, JL and Long became leaders when they were very young, around their 2nd and 3rd seasons. It goes to show that you don’t have to be old to provide leadership. It’s silly to assume that no other leaders had emerged and the team lacks leadership.
