I am talking about a HC who says he does not want a team to win 48-0 and have no flags because then they would not have anything to work on after that game.
My issue with this team is that the entire team takes on that ideal....to make mistakes and learn from them....that's fine to do, but to say before hand or after a game to say that I am glad we made mistakes now so we can fix them.....guess what the mistakes they make now are going to be done all season.....
I want a team to come out and play as clean as they can and do the best they can....win that 1st game with out a doubt of outcome....go from there and get better...you can do that...
The issue of some to bring up injuries year after year...IMO it seems that this team will never win in your world...the only way they can win is in a perfect world...no injuries.....I don't agree.....
IMO our main problem has been poor fundamentals of the game.....forget about the injury thing...we have them every year....we have not had major injuries with our WR's or TE's they just could not run routes or catch balls no matter who was throwing the ball. Those are fundamentals......
The defense giving up yards against nobodies has nothing to do with injury...it's about those guys doing their jobs...no matter who is in place.
I am sick of this injury thing going on for what 3,4 5 years as our reason for what we do and where we end up......I just hear the same thing from this team...."We lost....I don't know what happened..we practice better than this...." over and over.....The fact seems to be that they just are used to not making the grade and the staff is not demanding any better.....Excuses come out like an open dam.....They never talk about injuries like some fans do.....they just say they don't know......that's kinda scary or it really is a point of worry....They don't know which to me means they just don't know....if that's the case they will never get over the hump.
