Back in the 70s / early 80s, we'd get a Wish Book a month or two before the public could. When smaller, my Brother and I would wear them out looking through them. Poor ol Sears. USED to be a AWESOME place. Even my Dad, who passed 3 years ago, who retired in 2000, told me around 1990 that he'd be surprised if Sears lasted 15 years. Sears REALLY went down when they started treating OLD SCHOOL employees like crap and rely on young part timers that would come n go almost weekly. That and pushing credit cards and maintenance agreemnts over customer service. The latter REALLY used to piss off Dad.
