Who GRob's career is trending towards.
He's been terrible and now he comes off a bad sophomore season leading all offensive players in the NFL in penalties by showing up overweight and out of shape. This is a player who already lacks the technique and discipline to be a good blindside protector.
The writing is on the wall with this guy.
Yes, how could I forget Jason Smith?
Or Alex Barron?
Heck, the list is almost endless, isn't it?
But when you compare GRob's career path to Jason Smith's, 9er8er, you lose a ton of credibility with me.
Apples and oranges, man.
I'll just leave it at that.
Both 2nd overall picks.
Both considered physical specimens but raw because neither played with their hand in the dirt in college, lacked technique and understanding of NFL offenses. Both performed exceptionally poorly in their first couple seasons.
Smith suffered from physical issues related to injuries, Robinson suffers from physical issues related to obesity.
Okay, maybe one's a bad apple and one's a bad orange.
