Stepping into his throw

Goff got a chance to show me two throws I really like last night

One to Higbee.
tight spiral, confident, that good footwork in place, fine form on the toss, and most of all stepping in to it.

One to Cooper
from the sideline he looked a bit as if he was heaving the ball; from the deep corner endzone camera, he clearly is not. Showing that arm strength there, and fine accuracy on the deep middle pass. It was on target, and dropped right in that tight area into Cooper's mitts.
this is a ball that if completed points to good things. that it wasn't only annoys me with Cooper. Goff saw the man in an instant, and put the ball on the mark.
wonder if Goff felt a flashback to his first year taking snaps for the Bears; and the bad plays his WRs left him with.......

overall, there was some locking in on receivers by the QBS, but there was also a number of times I saw them not give away the farm. Sean, particularly, had a couple of times with both elements. Locking on, and looking off. For the most part the locking on, were short plays, so no harm, no foul.
