I don't think Kroenke making that suggestion, (the word 'dictating' here is hyyperbole I think) does not equate to 'less smart'.
I see it in my head as all of them around the "Round Table" and just before the slamming of the gavel Kroenke turning to Fisher and saying something akin to, "sure would be nice for a win in this game", then winking. But a sincere wink.. not a frivolous one.
