I was at camp last Saturday and Sunday and frankly Goff is not doing horrible and to say he's no where near ready, well, I'll leave that up to Jeff Fisher and his coaches.
No, he's not ready to start but that is no big surprise at this point.

I thought it was sound, logical but also a very predictable article from anyone that has common sense about not rushing a young QB into a starting lineup if he's not checking the boxes and looks as lost today as he did last week.
I'm guessing it was meant to shed light on those that expected Goff to come out of the gates NFL polished, advancing at light speed and a clear cut opening day starter after a handful of big boys camp etc.
Bucky.Brooks used insightful Bullet Point Words to support his points but to assume after 5 days of camp that Goff is merely bench ready with an entire preseason to go yet is as much of a rush to judgement on Bucky's article as it is for the Rams coaches to be careful not to rush Goff into the starting lineup.
Do you think Boras and Weinke printed these bullet point words and gave them to young Jared and said... Mr. Brooks was here watching you young lad and you failed these three categories so badly that until he see's you're fit and ready we have to keep you on the pine the for the first month or so of the season..
Sorry Bucky but the article though very intelligent is premature. Even if he guessed right and Goff doesn't start week 1, Brooks should have wrote this article after the 1st or 2nd preseason game because he's merely guessing on such a tiny sample size.
