There used to be a great steak house and Jazz venue at "Memory Lane" on Santa Barbara Blvd-now Martin Luther King Blvd. One of my favorites that is still there and not too far from the Coliseum is Taylor's Steak on 8th st. Still a USC post game hangout. Lot of "new" stuff along the Figueroa corridor and some high end restaurants and hotels.
