This stuff happens all the time to lots of teams.
But I get your point. And it's pretty funny.
Actually what happens to the Rams in terms of OL injuries does not happen to every team.
It happens to a few different teams every year.
But it doesn't happen to one team virtually every year for a decade.
Not talking about "OL injuries." Or Hav. Hav's just one guy. That's normal.
Talking about extensive multiple OL injuries. With the Rams it's easier to say when it HASN'T happened (2010, 2nd half of 2012, most of 2013). That's since 2007.
Like this---starting in 2014 the Rams acquired 8 young linemen. Robinson Rhaney Hav Brown Donnal Wichmann Williams Battle. Only one (Donnal) has any kind of previous injury history. Since 2014 through 2015, all but one of them has suffered a serious injury causing them to miss time either during the season or in camp, and that's if they didn't flat-out get IRed. In several cases it required surgery.
That's 7 of 8.
No THAT does not happen to everyone.
And when it DOES happen it only counts as an "excuse" if you don't get what multiple simultaneous injuries do to an OL and therefore to offensive execution.
The only teams that handle that are the ones with a rare qb who can compensate for that situation. That would include, for different reasons, Brady and Wilson. It includes few others.
