Record with his hand-picked QBs (Bradford and Foles):
14-19-1 (.426)
With backup QBs (Clemens/Hill/Davis/Keenum):
13-17 (.433)
He's actually slightly better with backups starting... And I believe the league wide win % with backup QBs in recent years is about .350. I can't explain it but it's interesting...
By the way I believe he and Snead should get two-year extensions. Keep them through the three years at the Coliseum. If it hasn't worked by then it will mean likely that Goff/Groh/Boras didn't pan out and they'll be picking at the top of the 2019 Draft. Go into that season and new stadium with a complete clean slate. Just my opinion.
Foles fell apart, something no one predicted would happen, not even his critics at the time of the trade.
You want to do a different stat? Compare Fisher when he has all 3 of the following: a relatively healthy OL, a decent qb, and a running threat.
If you count as "decent qb" Bradford, Keenum, and Foles BEFORE he melted down, that's a total of 21 games that have all 3 conditions.
In those 21 games they are 12-8-1, or (counting the tie as 0.5) a winning percentage of 59.5%, which in a regular 16 game season means 9-10 wins.
