I don't disagree with any point you made. I would say, however, that all of them except the 'move' are no more than what nearly every team faces every year. I don't think our concern 'number' is unusually high. Certainly a few teams aren't facing as many question but in general I don't see the Ram's situation as overly iffy.
Is the 'core' in place?
Even at QB I think we're in good shape. Keenum can play.. you and I see him differently, you're more positive about him, but he can step in and play... there I agree.
I'm pretty on an 'island', I think, regarding our WR's and OL. I think we have talent at WR but unfortunately still mired in 'potential'... pick your reason.
On the OL I'm not as down on GRob as most... where he was drafted may have been a mistake but I think he's an ok LT. Lot of games last year I read many posts about our OL breaking down but I didn't see that to the same degree as most. What we seemed to attribute to the OL in many cases I thought for more indicative of QB/WR play. Healthy, that first and foremost, I think we're ok. We're certainly not at the same level of proficiency at the DL but I think much better than our W/L record makes it seem.
On the defense you lose some you pick up some... that's today's game, but from a 'baseline' I think the Rams are in good shape, far better than most teams. - JamesJM
