Saw the first 6 games. Some thoughts...please chime in as desired:
Chris Miller looked like the pro bowl level QB he was in 1991....he was throwing as well as ALMOST any QB I have ever seen, and in fact I would prefer his style of throwing to anyone except Aaron Rogers...he could make all the throws, and he ra a 4.6 coming out of college; ya, put him in Dallas, or Miami, and without the concussions, he is better than Aikman, and maybe Marino...ok, going too far, right.
The O line looked good enough; I remember the O line being awful; maybe they started ok, and then faltered. Ashmore at RT played just well enough....Gandy looked, 80-85% of the time, very good,and Dwayne White was handicapped by his fat belly, but he fit the program of banging it up the middle. What happened to Bettis....he looked good some games, and not so good others. He hurt his ankle against the Colts, but looked good against the Falcons.
They had the music playing during the kickoffs at Busch during the Falcon game (6th game).
Roman PHifer played like a pro bowler....Lyle and Wright were killin' guys. Sean Gilbert at RDE--lol, that was as joke, but what do I really know. Still one of the great mysteries of a fallen player (shoulder surgeries)--not a fighter?
Wow, they fell apart....I think I don't want to watch the rest of the 1995 games, lol.
