In the first four weeks...
The Rams have turned the ball over on two punt returns and a kickoff return...
The Rams have extended drives with defensive penalties...
The Rams have allowed opposing teams to convert some key 3rd downs...
Jared Goff has failed to spot some open receivers that could have produced big plays...
There have been some dropped passes...
Todd Gurley has fumbled the ball a few times...
And yet, the Rams are 3-1.
That's why I have hope.
Last year, when the Rams were 3-1, I felt like they had won by the skin of their teeth, catching more breaks than they gave. It felt tenuous.
This year, I feel like we haven't seen the Rams' best. If they can get there this season, we might just finally turn the corner.
