1989, Week 12 vs. New Orleans Saints

Dear Jim,

I was a young child when you were on the field for the Rams and have lots of fond memories about cheering for you, Ellard, Anderson, Greene, and many others. I recently had to pick a parking spot number at the lot I park at and I unhesitatingly chose #11. Thanks for some of the most fun Rams victories of all time.

Speaking of those, what do you remember about that Week 12 game against the Saints in 1989? Most people remember Flipper's amazing 336 receiving yards, but I think a lot of people overlook the fact that you were the guy tossing all those yards for him to gobble up. What was your mindset heading into the fourth quarter as your team was down 17-3? Any other cool tidbits you can tell us about that game? It's one of my favorites from my childhood.
